The Anemometer Cup Counter is used formeasuring the wind speed. The instrument has a Cup wheel comprising of threeconical cups made from Aluminum / Copper sheet with bedded edges and free torotate in a horizontal plane. The Cup wheel spindle is connected by wormgearing to a revolution counter mounted inside waterproof housing made from Aluminum / Gunmetal casting.

The gear ratio between the cup andcounter is so chosen that the run of the wind is shown directly in Kilometersand tenths. The Counter mechanism has five figures and reads up to 9999.9 km.before repeating itself. Stand model[RK-CCA] manufacturing as per IS: 5912, IMD Certificated also available onrequest at extra cost.
